Whether it is your first time here or your hundredth, we think the Bay Area is a wonderful
place to visit and explore. Here are some recommended things to do while you're in our
neck of the woods:
* Take the audio tour at Alcatraz (buy your tickets in advance!)
* Go wine tasting in Napa Valley or Sonoma Valley
* Rent bikes and picnic on Angel Island
* Eat, drink, and be merry: San Francisco has more restaurants per capita than any other
city in the US
* Drive up to Twin Peaks for the best view of the city
* Take note, the Castro Street Fair is on Sunday, October 1 this year!
* Hike one of the countless trail systems that ribbon the Bay Area
* Cheer the Giants (or jeer Barry Bonds) at AT&T Ballpark
* Visit the acclaimed farmer's market at the newly renovated Ferry Building

We think the fall is the best time to visit the Bay Area! Highs should be in the mid- to
high-70s, lows should be in the mid-50s, and skies should be clear and sunny.
